AFSCME Local 2401, representing the Social Service and Service Delivery employees of the Nation's Capital, is based out of Washington, DC and is affiliated with District Council 20 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
As active union members, we are volunteers who handle grievances, bargain collectively, develop policy, and participate in political action to improve working and living conditions for all Washingtonians.
